in a RESEARCH PORTFOLIO 

Merit: Reference and summarise the purpose and conclusions of the research through a RESEARCH LOG 

Distinction: select and extract relevant material from a wide range of well selected sources (videos, articles, blogs, websites, journals etc) that are purposeful to the outcomes of the task and evaluate relevance and suitability in a RESEARCH PORTFOLIO/RESEARCH LOG

Task 2:
Pass: To write a PROPOSAL (a report addressed to producers) containing a treatment of your idea, and the findings of your research and evidence written in such a way as to sell your idea for your short film using full scentences and correct grammar and punctuation to write a structured report. 


Merit: Review and revise your grammar, spelling and punctuation using a spellchecker to correct mistakes, proof read and highlight these visibly in the DRAFT PROPOSAL and the circling the changes made in the FINAL PROPOSAL that will be given to the Producers.

Distinction: Justify your creative ideas and decisions and the conclusions from your research in detailed to be convincing selling points in your PROPOSAL to the Producer to invest.
