Unit 2 Communication Skills: Task 4 How to structure and deliver a film pitch Deadline 15.1.16

Unit 2.3 Be able to pitch a media production proposal using appropriate technology
Deadline 15.1.16

What you have to do:
A 5 - 10 minute pitch of your proposal for 1 minute short film
A powerpoint or Prezi with accompanying clips and images

What you must include:
  • Narrative/Idea/Hook
  • Genre and Style (non-linear, or linear with a twist, montage or discontinuity?) 
  • USP
  • Budget
  • Funding sources
  • Audience/Trends (A Market for this?)
  • Distribution via festivals & YouTube, Netflix etc.
  • Certification and content issues
  • Locations

Who are you delivering to
What's the purpose & goal

Answers and guide:

Be concise (60 secs?)

Activity: Refine and distill your idea into a synopsis - you then have 60 seconds to deliver your practice pitch

Present the information as a journey/- story B-M-E, link the points together
